Cocoda is a Web application to create, manage, and review mappings between entities from knowledge organization systems, such as classifications, authority files, ontologies and thesauri. It has been developed as part of project coli-conc since around 2018. The application is hosted with multiple public instances at VZG for libraries, museums, and cultural institutions and for research institutions within NFDI. Sources and Docker containers are available for local installation as well.
Cocoda can connect to various terminology registries. Mappings are stored in a database instance of jskos-server with API access for automatic processing of mappings. Authentification is enabled via a login-server that supports ORCID, GitHub, and Wikimedia, and other identity providers.
