Description

FairCopy uses the internationally accepted "Guidelines for Electronic Text Encoding and Interchange" or "TEI".

FairCopy is an Electron application which uses React and Material UI for its user interface. It also makes extensive use of ProseMirror and OpenSeaDragon. It utilizes a fork of the Annotorious OpenSeaDragon plugin for image annotation.

FairCopy allows you to organize your source images and link them to your transcriptions. You can link the images themselves or to zones on an image.

FairCopy supports IIIF, an international standard for exchanging high quality images from libraries and special collections.
